In the beginning there was a boy.......

And, just like most little boys, he loved playing in his sandpit with all his yellow tonka trucks.a2

As he grew up, people would ask him: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and he would answer: “I want to have my own school for boys” (weird, we know).

Like most parents, they did not really pay much attention to the little boys statement, I mean, what is a ‘school for boys’ anyway?

But the little boy would not be deterred, he knew that one day, he would find a way to do it…

The boy then became a man, and from very humble beginnings in a little factory in Grace Street Cranbourne, COVE Training started to slowly take form. The boy in the sandpit didn't want to open up just another school; he wanted a school where you actually learn things by doing things. So, with his trusty hound by his side, he started teaching people how to operate machinery.

At first it started with a forklift, and then another one, and another one, and somewhere in the middle of all this the excavators, loaders, rollers, order-pickers, skid steers all turned up, and it’s still going!

And finally the little boy’s dream came true. He got his school.
